31st of May and 1st of Jun 2025 Sun 1 Jun 2025, 6:03:59 pm CET We have reached the first of June 2025, I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the summer weather. The weather is not bad, but certainly not as warm as it was last week. The weather is a bit unstable, but we are still enjoying the summer vibes. I have huge tobacco news, some of my plants have been replanted, now finally in the ground The tobacco plants are now in the ground, growing nicely. I am really excited to see how they will catch on.... I am really wondering how they will catch on, as I have never grown tobacco before. I have been reading a lot about tobacco growing, and I am really looking forward to the harvest later this year and continue the process of making my own pipe tobacco. I have also been experimenting with different types of tobacco, and I am really excited to see how they will turn out. I will keep you updated on the progress of my tobacco plants, I feel a new website project coming up, where I will document the whole process of growing tobacco, from seed to pipe. Didn't I already mentioned that I bought the pipeatlas.com domain? I did, and I am really excited to start working on it. I will also document tobacco and pipe news from all around the world, thus the name Pipe Atlas. Yesterday night we were invited for a special event, namely the Met Opera Live in HD. The Opera at Met in New York the Il Barbiere di Siviglia Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Met Opera, a classic opera by Gioachino Rossini, was broadcasted live to the Kinepolis cinema in Antwerp. It was a fantastic performance, and we really enjoyed Even the bubbles was in the package, a nice freixenet Prosecco. Cheers! it. The music was beautiful, the singing was amazing, and the acting was top-notch. It was a great experience to see such a high-quality production in our local cinema. To finish off the update for this Sunday evening, I finished a little 3D printing project. It is one of those satisfying projects that you can do in a few hours, and it is really useful. I designed the CAD model and printed a mesh for the birdfeeder This is the first test, see the small white mesh that I applied in the birdfeeder and took it for a test drive... to stop the peanuts from falling through the mesh, but still enough for the birds to reach them. It's been frequently visited today by small and medium sized birds, first result seems promising thus. Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day.
