25th of Sep until 4th of Oct 2026 Sun 4 Oct 2026, 8:13:16 pm CET It is sunday and the weather was brilliant today. We had the afternoon (and early evening) to enjoy the sunshine in Antwerp. A lot was going on there, just a lot of events arranged and a lot of people on the streets. We had a nice walk in the city and enjoyed the atmosphere. We went there with J and K to enjoy the Smaakmakers Discover Antwerp's culinary scene during Smaakmakers. - a food festival in the city. We also had a nice walk in the city and enjoyed the atmosphere. The weather was perfect for that. The temperature was around 25 degrees Celsius and the sun was shining. It was a busy but cosy weekend starting off on Friday with a nice dinner at my parents in law's place. We had a nice dinner and enjoyed the company together with J and K, nieces, brother in law K and the rest of the gang. We also spent some time with J to go over his next step in life. After the finished studies he is now looking to study further and is exploring the area of music production and sound engineering. We have a very interesting project of continuing his studies in Sweden. I am super excited about that! I was also busy with some own small projects. With the risk of sounding like a nerd, I have been busy researching the new Linux OS called Omarchy There are a lot of interesting and ground-breaking features available in Omarchy.. It is a new Linux distribution that is based on Arch Linux and it is designed to be a stable and secure operating system. I have been testing it on my laptop and I am quite impressed with it. It is very fast and stable and it has a lot of features that I like. I have had it running for some time now. I completely re-formatted my system on the old Macbook Air and dedicated it completely to Omarchy. So far so good, thus. I have also been busy with some AI projects. I have been experimenting with Stable Diffusion Stable Diffusion is a deep learning, text-to-image model released in 2022. and I have been trying to generate and edit some images using it. I have been using the ComfyUI interface for that and it is quite interesting to see what kind of images can be generated from a simple text prompt. I have also been experimenting with some other AI models and I am quite impressed with the results. For the rest, what can I tell you? Another week is about to start... Did you know that..?
