5th until 9th of Nov 2024 Sat Nov 9 2024, 11:41:26 pm CET The week that was can be put to history as yet another busy but inspiring week. It was some added stress on finishing off some stuff since I have taken some days off next week extending my time off with the public holiday we have on Monday where I live. I am really looking forward to some time off....again. It was the birthday of neighbour lady D. last week and we had a little surprise arranged for her. Unfortunately with our colds and due to circumstances, it is not the best timing to get together at this very moment. We have to postpone it until a more suitable time. It feels that currently there are just too much of things going on and we have received not very nice news that keeps coming. We need a break, and some more positivity... Finally yesterday, on Friday, J. did an exam and could follow up with some leisure time with friends in Antwerp. Later in the evening he'd planned to meet up with his friends and go to a new winter bar not far from where we live, in the area of where the airport of Brasschaat is. There are two restaurants, recreational- and sports fields (baseball and dog training), the local military barracks and some private air plane hangars in that area. I really like to go there, especially in the summer when the airfield is very active as well. It was a gray, wet and cold day today. Just one of those days you best spend inside being cosy. I did some chores, added more RAM memory in my laptop and started a little 3D printing project. Actually, I finished a couple of them last week, the latest today, a rack for tobacco pipes I am printing a rack for tobacco pipes and fittingly I can finally try out a new filament I had laying around. It is namely a wooden colour PLA. It is a project that consists of 3 pieces - the base, the stand and then the top.. Both of us are still having a cold, we are tired after the week, so today for dinner we went full out on decadence and ordered home delivery from one of our favourite place. The three of us also did a facetime call with J's girlfriend K., it was nice to see her and briefly see how she lives in Cyprus. I will go and follow the last hour of the 3D printing job that is still running and then it is time for the bed. Did you know that..?
