The Road to Initiation: A Journey of Self-Discovery

11 of Mar 2025

Tue 11 Mar 2025, 7:09:07 pm CET Today we're the day after a very important day (read the previous post if you missed what was stored for us yesterday). Funny enough, it turned out to be a fantastic day for all of us. J. really liked his working place and for H. was it back to the mines as usual but known that J enjoyed his day made the difference. For me it was a little bit the same a normal working day (with the exception of the news from J.), but the evening (and night) turned out being totally surreal. It ended brilliantly in a bistro/cafe with my friends and masonic companions. The experience was so far away from my comfort zone that I would not even see it in my rear view mirror...

I will not disclose any details around the protectedrituals related to freemasonry, but my personal view and experience on a generic level is something else. To be honest, I had my reservations initially to the whole thing, but the more I get into it, the more I get to know the characters in the masonic lodge of my choice, it all comes together. It is a heartening experience with great personalities from all walks of life. We have everyone from the person with a personal driver (his 30 meter yacht) waiting outside in a Rolls-Royce to the a plumber who rubs their shoulders together over a nice beer. That is what makes it real and honest.

To give you and idea what was going on; I was interrogated, I had the time to reflect isolated in total seclusion and I had to defend my philosophical views in front of a secret board of people... if you succeed these tests, I can assure you, it leaves a very satisfying feeling. A memory for life. I can look forward to the last step of becoming a full fledge member in the end of this month. More to come...

Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day. Tue Mar 11 2025, 8:19:04 pm CET
