17th and 18th of Sep 2024 Wed Sep 18 2024, 8:07:17 pm CET We reached the middle of a work-week, Wednesday is done. Hurray! But today was actually not a bad day at all, this morning I had a doctors appointmentwhich went very smooth, not more than 20 minutes in and out (for 60 EUR). We try to schedule a dermatology appointment every second year. For all of us. But I learned that the last time I was there was 10 years ago. I thought that it was 4, maybe 5 years ago. I almost got a shock when I was informed when the last appointment was. Luckily, nothing negative to report, he was happy how my skin "has progressed" . He is a very well renowned doctor here, in Europe in fact, we are very fortunate to still be with him. Sometimes, when he is not available his daughter is stepping in. I think it is fantastic! Anyway, nice that all is good. We are getting updates from J. and K. from Cyprus. Today they visited the Turkish side which demands a passport control. K. have also experienced for the first time where she will live for the next coming 6 months. I think they experienced a little bit of a "cultural shock" seeing the neighbourhood and the part outside the tourism area and where the people are actually living. Then I hear what a true gentleman we have raised in the phone when we finally hear them on the phone. We are so proud. Did you know that..?
