19th and 20th of May 2025 Tue May 20 2025, 11:41:48 pm CET OK, so yesterday and today (so far) have been not to far away from the usual. I have been working on some stuff, but not much to report. Yesterday was a fantastic masonic evening that stretched into the night... and the early morning. I feel that I am not 18 anymore. Far from it...It was worth it though. I experienced, for the first time so far and not going into details, the true brotherhood of my lodge. Something really profound, but something I feel should be more common in our society per default. It is easy, something that was not strange when I grew up. How about showing some genuine interest and care for each other? I am not saying that we all should all be best friends, but a little more respect and understanding would go a long way. Could it be the best defence against what is going on in the world today? I think so. I see some hope, I see it happening in the group of friends of my son. If that is the case, I can rest safely in my grave... On that serious note to something a little bit less serious, but still important; the small things that bring quality to our lives, namely hobbies. One of my hobbies is tobacco and pipe smoking (even though I did not start the smoking bit yet). I love the pipes, the design and the history I really love to read and learn about the pipesmoking history. Here is a fabolous picture documenting the 149 year history of the Savinelli. Isn't it so that the kid is having a tobacco pipe in his mouth on this picture? behind them. Also the process of producing the tobacco blends is fascinating. I have been growing my own tobacco plants for a while now, and I am really happy with the result Look at these beauties, enjoying the sun today. See how well they are growing...unbelievable! Soon I have to think about replanting them in the final outdoor pot... so far. Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day.
