Easter Break Adventures: Beach, Garden & Projects

14th until 22nd of Apr 2025

Tue Apr 22 2025, 10:26:51 pm CET Oboy, oboy, what can I tell you here? It is a Tuesday after the Easter-break and we did an excursion and worked extensively in the garden on new projects. Add to that, I even completed a small little 3D-printing project. Hang on, I will have to check if I already wrote about it here... I am back; I know why, I wrote about the 3D printing project on my other site dedicated to 3D-printing. Go and read about it here What a fantastic article. It is amazing how anyone can capture the share esence of a 3D project of this caliber....

As you will agree, if you are remotely in a similar situation as I am, you will know that the Easter-break is a bit of a mixed bag. It is a time to relax and enjoy the time off, but it is also a time to catch up on all the things you have been putting off. All that within a very limited time. But all good. It is so amazingly nice to be able to spend time with family and friends. Anyway, let me give you an idea of what we have been up to.

We spend the bigger part of the weekend on the seaside of Belgium with family. We went to the beach, had some drinks and food, and just enjoyed the time together. It was a bit windy, but that did not stop us from having a good time. We even managed to get some sun on our faces. The view from the the apartment that my dad in law rented was amazing. We could see the sea and surroundings in 120 degrees This is just to give you an idea of the view we had out of the windows in the evening when we sat together.... We also went for a walk on the beach and it was just so nice to be outside in the fresh air.

On a personal note, we - the four of us - spend the night in the Ibis hotel in Knokke. We have stayed there one time before, it is a nice and practical place to stay. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. It is perfect as a base for our excursions and it has a charging station for the car. Look here A typical car you'd see driving around in Knokke this time of the year...In the background you can see the hotel. who was the neighbour to us in the parking lot.

OK, I think that will be enough for what I have time for today. I have to get back to work and finish up the last things before I go to bed. I will be back later this week with more updates on the garden projects and the 3D printing project.

Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day. Tue 22 Apr 2025, 6:12:51 pm CET

“We are, as it were, laughing at ourselves.”
- Aristotle (384 - 322 BC - Nicomachean Ethics)
