14th until 26th of Mar 2026 Thu 26 Mar 2026, 6:57:04 pm CET We are swiftly moving to the end of March, and the spring is in the air. The days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer. Even though today was a bit chilly, I could feel the spring vibes. The activities amongst birds and animals are increasing, and the flowers are starting to bloom. It's a great time to be outside and enjoy the beauty of nature. The negatives are the pigeons that start to be more active and shitting on the cars and that is especially annoying when you just have a new car. Talking of which, my new car is absolutely one of the best cars I have ever owned. On a private level it's been a busy time as well, the most inspiring thing and what we are looking forward to is the upcoming summer holiday. We have finally decided to visit the Azores, which is a group of islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. We have heard so many good things about it and we are really looking forward to it. We have already started to plan our trip and we are really excited about it. We will be visiting the island of Sao Miguel, which is the largest island in the Azores. We are completely booking everything ourselves this time - the flights, the accommodation and the car rental. Because we have to go and explore the island and we want to be able to do it at our own pace and tailor it to our own needs and preferences. Flights and car rental are already booked (the accommodation that we are planning to stay in Porto on the return trip is also booked), and we are now finalizing the accommodation. It's also been busy on the masonic front, with several meetings and events happening. I have progressed in my masonic journey and I have officially become a journeyman mason, which is a great - on so many levels - achievement. It keeps you busy. I was going to give an update about some technical stuff as well, but I think I have to save that for another post, because this one is already getting quite long. I have quite a few things to share about that, but I will save it for another time. Come to think of it, I also have some updates about my ongoing tobacco project as well.
