19th until 26th of Oct 2024 Sat Oct 26 2024, 3:27:59 pm CET It is already weekend again, a full week has passed since I last updated here. Incredible! How fast can time go? It was especially busy by the end of the week, that is normal just before holiday. That is right, I will be on holiday next week. I discovered that there were quite a few holidays still left that I have to use up before year end. That is a luxury problem I like. The plan is to complete the garage project, arrange my 3D printing corner and do a serious clean up in general. It would be great to sort out old stuff which we did not use or even touch in years. Last Monday I had an appointment at the garage, it was time for maintenance of my car. It was the second one, an electric car doesn't need same kind of service which a car with a combustion engine. I was at a new place, a Volvo garage, which was an extremely positive experience. They started working at once (even though the leasing company messed up with the booking) and I could use a very nice meeting area This was my office area I could use while I was waiting for the car to get ready. Fantastic place and great service! for my conference calls while I was waiting. Today there are some chores to do and in the evening we have a birthday party to go to. J. will be busy with school work and then he will have to pack and prepare for the trip - he is going to Cyprus for one week visiting his girlfriend K. I have been working a little bit to set up my 3D printers and arranging the work space, it is starting to look good. I have them all standing where they roughly need to be. I am really happy with the new space, but of course there are aspects, like power outlets and wiring, which is taking more space than what I planned. Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day.
