21st until 30th of May 2025 Tue 27 May 2025, 8:23:40 pm CET OK, time is passing so quickly that I don't know where to start! It's insane that it's been almost a week since I last wrote something here. Where did the time go? OK, the end of last week was really busy at work. On Thursday evening, we met up with J in Antwerp and enjoyed fantastic pizza together at the restaurant Kalura Delicious pizza at Kalura in Antwerp.. Editor's note:The earlier post here above was done 2 days ago, but I never came around the release it. You have heard it before, let's continue... Fri May 30 2025, 11:01:18 pm CET The plan was also to write something about K's final school project Before all the people arrived, here is an idea how it looked like last sunday on the 25th of May. that launched last Sunday: organising a complete event for the public. Together with a small group of students from the same programme, they organised everything, from the location, sanitation, safety and sponsors to the performing act. She worked really hard, and it's great to see that all her hard work paid off in the end. She did a fantastic job and we are so proud of her! OK, so we have now reach Monday this week, 4 days ago thus. Days are passing so quickly and it was also a public holiday yesterday which is adding to the confusion. Our dear neighbour ladies are moving and we, especially H., are helping them out with the packing and moving. A lot of work and emotional moments for everyone involved. Packing everything in boxes is also a discovery journey, finding old stuff that you thought you had lost or forgotten about. It's a bit sad to see them go, but we are also happy for them that they can start a new chapter in their lives. We will miss them dearly, but we know that they will always be our neighbours in our hearts. There was an important Masonic event last Monday for which a tuxedo and 'other official ornaments' were required. It concluded with a reception that truly embodied brotherhood. They're such a lovely, fascinating and diverse group of people, always ready with interesting topics to chat about and, even more importantly, a good laugh. Tuesday was an early start and then Wednesday was a normal busy workday I think. I can't remember much about it, so it must have been a normal day. Then yesterday was a public holiday in Belgium, which I mentioned earlier that it confuses me a bit. It was a strange day, strange energy, and I didn't feel like doing much as the weather was absolutely terrible. The weather today is the complete opposite of yesterday's. It's extremely warm with an almost tropical humidity. The 4 of us have just enjoyed a very cosy aperitif outside on the terrace with the best summer drink, namely the aperol spritz and some delicious snacks. Now we are back in again from the dinner, talks and a game of Jenga with the youth. The last minutes of the day we will zoom out with tea and watch something, most likely a series on Netflix. Tomorrow evening we will go and watch the opera Figaro. But more about that tomorrow... Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day.
