Weekend Wrap-Up & New Acquisitions

25th until 28th of Sep 2024

Sat Sep 28 2024, 10:05:49 pm CET It's been an eventful work week and the very same goes for the first day of the weekend. A lot is going on at work that I can not share, but on a personal note it is progressing nicely. One thing is clear, it will be a couple of interesting weeks starting on Monday.

A couple of things, we finally got the kitchen tap kitchen tap, home designOur fantastic kitchen tap in perfect style of the kitchen. installed (not without issues, so lucky that it was done by a professional who also went over the complete installation), we discovered "German cockroaches" in the car (it probably came from the Netherlands and the airport) which is driving us nuts and we are doing everything to eradicate them, we received the amazing photo album that was made over the Madeira Madeira, travelOur memories from a magic holiday on Madeira. vacation of which a lot of work went into.

It was also time for some orderings, mostly practical stuff but I also spoiled myself with some nice things. A new tobacco pipe (I am so curious about my new Falcon tobacco pipe), a Zippo lighter (especially designed for tobacco pipes) and a Hue Go light (a lamp on rechargeable batteries connected to the network) which is something for the house, but I like those gadgets. I have taken some nice pictures on the Zippo lighter, I will post them when I receive the tobacco pipe. It's a match made in heaven...

OK, today we thoroughly cleaned our home and some other housey chores. It was a busy day on that level with a lot of activities on the home-front, now it's time to zoom out, watch a TV series and then go to bed.

Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day. Sat 28 Sep 2024, 7:39:27 pm CET Did you know that today 1844 is when Oscar I of Sweden-Norway Read more about him on Wikipedia. is crowned king of Sweden.
