27th until 31 of Aug 2025 Sun Aug 31 2025, 9:16:54 pm CET The last day of August 2025. The summer is almost over, and the days are getting shorter. The evenings are getting cooler, and the nights are getting longer. The leaves are starting to change colour, and the air is getting crisper. It's a time of transition, a time of change, a time of reflection. As I sit here and write this, I can't help but think about all the things that have happened this month. The good, the bad, the happy, the sad. It's been a month of ups and downs, but overall, it's been a good month. July was a great month with a lot of travelling, with real holiday and summer feelings. The last couple of days were a lot of socialising with friends and family. Wednesday we had our friend C. over for dinner. A nice catch-up and a lot of fun. Thursday we had a family dinner with nice company and good food - mussels! Friday we met with friends G. and T. who are always great fun to be with. Interesting talks to say the least! We all enjoyed the Italian restaurant Pici Pici is a popular Italian restaurant in Antwerp, known for its fresh pasta, cozy atmosphere, and authentic Italian cuisine. Visit their website for more information, menu, and reservations. Along with that there were some busy working days and J. had friends over from Sweden for a few days. All in all, a busy but fun week. Now it's time to get ready for September and the start of a new month. Tomorrow, another interesting time is starting up, namely I am meeting my masonic brothers again after a summer break. Let's see what September has in store for us! I will process that among other things in bed tonight. Goodnight! Did you know that..? I try to find an interesting historical event that occurred on this day.
